Shopping centre gives charities a boost. 
Staff at Gainsborough's Marshall's Yard shopping complex have announced the Salvation Army and John Coupland Hospital's Scotter Ward as their chosen charities for the year. They have been collecting for both at events and staff activities, while customers can donate at the centre's wishing well.

Hospital sister retires after three decades
A hospital sister who followed in her mother's footsteps to care for patients in Skegness has retired after a successful career spanning 30 years.

Outpatients sister, Vicky Wilson, says Skegness hospital will always have a special place in her heart, as the place her mother spent more than 20 years as a nurse and where Vicky spent more than a decade.

Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust (LPFT) - Next wave of mental health promotion fund available 
Organisations and groups that support and help people manage their mental health and wellbeing are being invited to pitch for a share of  £300,000 community funding.
LPFT and Lincolnshire County Council have announced the latest round of their Mental Health Promotion Fund. 
The fund aims to help adults who have experienced mental health problems to participate in a wide range of activities that will help them to recover and maintain as good a quality of life as possible.  
It also allows local people of all ages to play an active role in promoting good mental health for themselves and others and this year includes funding to support dementia groups whose aim is improve the mental health of those living with dementia.
Projects that ultimately receive funding will all join LPFT’s innovative Managed Care Network, a collection of community groups which offer support and various activities to help keep people living well in the community. 
And this year the application process has been streamlined to make it even easier for interested parties to get their bids in
