P_HR_30 Secondment & Training Agreement Policy
A secondment is the temporary loan of an employee to another Organisation, or to a different area or post within the same Organisation, for a specific purpose for a specific time for the mutual benefit of the individual employee and LCHS.
Secondments are recognised by the Organisation as being a valuable aid to staff development and also useful in addressing a short-term need to cover a specific post. The purpose of this policy is to promote best practice, provide information to employees and guidance to managers.
This Policy also incorporates work based learning contracts for Trainee Assistant Practitioner (TAP) Foundation Degree Training, Specialist Practitioner - School Nurse/Health Visitor Degree Training, Allied Health Professional Practitioner - Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Degree Training, Pre-Registration Nursing Programmes and National Vocational Qualifications.
