P_HR_36 Loyalty Awards Policy

 Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust recognises that the high standards and quality of the services it provides is dependent on the contribution, effort and loyalty of the staff. As such, this is an opportunity for the organisation to demonstrate that it values the contribution employees have made to the organisation and the NHS over a length of time.

This policy sets out arrangements to recognise the loyalty of employees and their entitlement to apply for an award. It relates to continuous service achieved within the NHS and covers all staff employed directly by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust.  This is however with the exception of Bank Staff as any service completed on the Bank for the purposes of this scheme does not count as continuous service.

The policy sets out the eligibility criteria and states what the awards will consist of - 20 years service is awarded by Capital bonds valued at £100, 30 years service is awarded by bonds valued at £150, 40 years service is awarded by bonds totalling £200 and 50 years service is awarded by bonds totalling £250.
