Urgent Care Services

Our urgent care centres (formerly accident and emergency) are open 24 hours a day, providing urgent assessment, diagnosis and treatment, provided by teams of emergency nurse practitioners and an associate specialist doctor during the day, and a GP at night (there is no doctor available at Skegness Hospital at night).  Those patients who cannot be safely treated may be referred or transferred elsewhere as necessary.

Skegness Hospital has an urgent care centre, which is open 24 hours every day of the year. No appointment is necessary and referrals are also accepted from the ambulance service and out of hours service.
