Be Cautious of Cupid This Valentine's Day Warn Sexual Health Nurses
Posted on: 12th February 2016
Love will be in the air this weekend as Valentine's Day is celebrated across the county but between all the romance and roses, it is important to remember to take care of your sexual health.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) holds countywide sexual health clinics offering a range of appointments including 'FLY-BYE'.
Susan Collins, Sexual Health Nurse Consultant at LCHS, said: "If you are entering into a new relationship it is always a good idea to have a sexual health screen for peace of mind. Our FLY-BYE clinics offer a fifteen minute appointment to those who are symptom-free, with a specially trained health care support worker.
"If you are already in a relationship, it is still important to not take unnecessary risks. Our sexual health service provides a flexible, non-judgemental, confidential service to anyone who needs it for sexually transmitted infection/HIV advice, screening and treatment and/or contraceptive health needs."
To book an appointment, including 'FLY-BYE' please call the central booking line number on 01522 308800 which is open 8am until 6.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 5pm on Friday's.
