Community NHS Trust Welcomes New Chief Executive

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) has welcomed a new Chief Executive.

Andrew Morgan brings a wealth of leadership experience to the trust, having worked in the NHS since 1982 and as a Chief Executive since 2004.

He said: "I feel very privileged to come and work in Lincolnshire at what is a very exciting time for the trust and the wider health and social care community. Since LCHS became an independent NHS Trust in 2011, it has committed to providing excellent patient-centred care in our communities. This has been very clear as I have been meeting staff and patients across the county and there is a great deal to be very proud of.

"Delivering high quality care, being financially sustainable and being a well-led organisation are strengths I hope to continue to build on at LCHS, which in turn will support our aspiration to become an NHS Foundation Trust."

Andrew was previously Interim Chief Executive Officer of the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. His NHS career has included Chief Executive posts in London, Bedfordshire and Norfolk, as well as a range of director posts covering commissioning, performance management, strategy and service improvement.

LCHS Chairman, Dr Don White, said: "We are delighted to have appointed Andrew from a very strong field of candidates as our Chief Executive. Andrew brings a wealth of leadership experience with him and we are pleased to welcome him to the team."
