Director of Nurse Education / Deputy Head of School within the College of Social Science -School of Health and Social Care. From £56,482.00 per annum. Post reference: HLS1012B
We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nurse Education / Deputy Head of School to manage our sizeable and highly valued contracts for pre and post registration Nursing provision. With an intake of over 200 students per annum, for Adult and Mental Health fields, and a substantial Learning Beyond Registration undertaking, the portfolio of Nursing programme sits within the School of Health and Social Care and prides itself on its public and community health focus, its commitment to interprofessional learning with Social Work and Social Care and its research informed teaching and learning.
The Director will lead and manage a growing team of Nursing academics and professional support staff, will be a Deputy Head of School and will be a key member of theSchoolofHealthand Social Care Leadership Group.
The Collegeof Social Science consists of seven Schools (Psychology, Health and Social Care, Business, Law, Social and Political Sciences, Sport and Exercise Science and Education). Our mission is to provide a vibrant, collegiate environment and presence that supports an inspirational student experience through excellent teaching, research and a commitment to making a positive difference to local, national and international communities.
The successful candidate will be an experienced, professional nurse who has an established record of high quality educational leadership and who will take forward its Nursing provision in partnership with local and regional health providers.
