Join in the Fun of the Fayre at Louth's County Hospital

Posted on: 5th December 2014

Staff at Louth's County Hospital will be getting into the festive spirit and helping to raise money for new equipment at their Christmas Fayre.

The local community are being invited to join in the fun and grab any last minute gifts and stocking fillers at the event on Saturday, December 13, from 1pm to 4pm.

The Woldside Day Unit will be transformed to include a Santa's Grotto and a variety of stalls selling deli items, crafts, cakes and other gifts.

There will be carol singing and a brass band, lots of games and the chance to win a Christmas hamper in a raffle. You can also guess the weight of a Christmas cake or bring the younger ones in your family to have a go on the children's tombola.

Proceeds will be divided equally between the wards and departments taking part in fayre for equipment and other items which will benefit patients and their care.

Karen Kerman, Matron at Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, which runs the Urgent Care Centre and wards at Louth, said: "We look forward to seeing everyone there to join in the festivities."
