Keeping Lincolnshire Smiles Bright With New Website

Posted on: 18th May 2016

Advice on food and drinks, brushing children's teeth and oral health promotion are some of the topics covered on a dedicated healthy smiles website.

The website is an extension to the Lincolnshire Healthy Families website, launched by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) which is full of useful advice for children, teens, expectant mums and adults.

Paula Moody, Strategic Lead Adult Public Health Services for LCHS said: "This section of the website is packed full of useful information including downloadable factsheets which are really handy for parents. The website is easily accessible and now covers a wide variety of topics from oral health, health visiting and school nursing."

The website is available on any digital platform including mobile phones, tablets and computers making it easy for people to access anytime, anywhere.

Gina Hargrave, Oral Health Promoter for LCHS said: "The website is a great way of letting people know about all the great work that we do, especially for awareness days and weeks like the upcoming National Smile Month. We will soon be posting online all our event days so that the public can come along and get advice."

Healthy Smiles also has a Facebook and Twitter page which will be updated with the latest information on all things oral health.
