NHS Board meeting - June 13

Posted on: 5th June 2017

The time of the monthly Board meeting for Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) is changing from June.

The Board, which is responsible for overseeing the delivery of community health services in the county, will now meet at 9am on the second Tuesday of the month. The next meeting will take place on June 13.

LCHS runs services across the whole county, helping patients to stay independent by providing treatment in the local community or in patients' own homes. The trust also provides healthy lifestyle services to prevent ill-health and ensure the best outcomes for those with long term conditions.

Chair of LCHS, Elaine Baylis, said: "Our monthly Board meetings provide the public with an opportunity to find out more about the organisation, the services we provide and how well we are performing. The role of our Board is to ensure that we are providing the highest quality care and improving the health of local people by providing services that reflect the needs of the communities we serve.

"Engagement with our patients and local community is crucial and we actively encourage people to attend and listen to discussions. It offers insight on our performance and an update on wider issues within the NHS. We will also start the meeting with a question and answer session for members of the public."

The meeting will take place at the trust's headquarters (Beech House, Witham Park, Waterside South, Lincoln, LN5 7JH). All are welcome to attend but it is asked that you RSVP by emailing lchsecomms@lincs-chs.nhs.uk.
