Recruitment open day - February 26
Posted on: 5th February 2018
Extraordinary people who can help to deliver great care in community-based NHS services are invited to a recruitment open day later this month.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust will be hosting the event in the Thoresby Suite at County Hospital, Louth (LN11 0EU), from 9.30am until 3.30pm on February 26.
Visitors will be able to meet staff from a variety of LCHS's services, including urgent care and community nursing, get advice on successful job applications, pick up interview tips and find out about the wide range of both clinical and non-clinical roles available in the trust.
LCHS cares for thousands of people across the whole of Lincolnshire every week, helping them to manage their health at home or in the local community and reducing the need for hospital admission.
Services include specialist and community nursing and therapies, sexual health, podiatry and urgent care services like the GP Out of Hours Service. The trust also provides care at four community hospitals in Louth, Skegness, Gainsborough and Spalding.
Carol Haycock, LCHS's workforce planning lead, said: "We're looking for extraordinary people to join our team in a range of roles, which all contribute to delivering great care to patients. Not only is Lincolnshire a beautiful place to live, working for the trust offers a range of great benefits, including professional development and attractive employment terms. LCHS is also rated 'good' by the Care Quality Commission and delivered on its financial obligations in the last financial year. We look forward to welcoming anyone interested in working for us on February 26."
Anyone unable to make it on the day is welcome to contact the trust's Workforce Services team directly on 01522 308700 to discuss available opportunities.
A list of current vacancies for LCHS can also be found on the trust's website: www.lincolnshirecommunityhealthservices.nhs.uk.
