Expanded access to sexual health services with new clinics in Grimsby and Immingham

Residents in Grimsby and Immingham now have improved access to sexual health services. Greater Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health Services (GLiSH) moved to a new location in Grimsby and opened a new clinic in Immingham.

Patients who are looking for help or advice relating to sexual health in Grimsby will be now seen at the Quayside Medical Centre, Albion Street in Grimsby. The clinic is open from 9am to 6.30pm on weekdays with extended hours on Wednesdays (9am to 7.30pm). Patients can also be seen on selected Saturdays.

GLiSH has recently also opened a clinic in The Roxton Practice, Pilgrim Primary Care Centre in Immingham where they offer appointments on Tuesdays from 9am to 5pm.

Paloma Diaz Estevez, Sexual Health Services Lead for GLiSH, said: “All the high-quality services patients have come to expect from GLiSH will continue to be available at the new locations. This includes sexual health screenings, contraceptive services, treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and sexual health education.

“The Quayside Medical Centre offers enhanced facilities, ensuring a more comfortable and efficient experience for all our patients. Our central booking line number remains the same and we can be contacted on 01522 309309 to book appointments.”

Elliott Fenton, Service Manager for Northern Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health Services said: “Patients do not necessarily need to be seen in person. We offer free home STI testing kits for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis or HIV. They can be ordered online from www.freeandclear.me or picked up from our any of our clinics.

“We also provide free condoms for young people that can be ordered from our website. A full list of what we offer is available online at lincolnshiresexualhealth.nhs.uk.”
