Trust Board meeting open to the public
Posted on: 4th January 2023
The next Board of Directors meeting for Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) is on Tuesday, 10 January.
LCHS runs services across the whole of Lincolnshire, helping people to manage their health at home or in the community through general and specialist nursing and therapy.
The trust also provides urgent care services throughout the county and inpatient services at community hospitals in Gainsborough, Louth, Skegness and Spalding.
The Board of Directors meeting will be held online via MS Teams and starts at 10am.
During the meeting we will hear about a community nursing and retention project, aimed at increasing the number of new starters and improving retention rates.
Elaine Baylis, Chair of LCHS, said: "Our board meetings provide the public with an opportunity to find out more about the organisation, the services we provide and how well we are performing. The role of our Board of Directors is to ensure that we are providing the highest quality care and improving the health of local people by providing services that reflect the needs of the communities we serve.
"Engaging with our patients and local community is crucial and we encourage people to get involved. We start the meeting with a question and answer session for members of the public, with questions submitted in advance."
If you would like to submit a question for the meeting, please do so before midnight on Sunday, 8 January, by completing the form on the trust’s website or by emailing lhnt.lchsecomms@nhs.net.
