Electronic Assistive Technology Service Referrals

AAC Service

Referrals to the AAC Service (Communication Aids) are usually made through a speech and language therapist, however they can come from any health or social care professional. In order to make a referral to the service please visit the Electronic Assist Technology (EATS) website and complete the form at the bottom of the page. Each referral is considered in the weekly triage meeting against the service specification and the team will be back in touch with you following this meeting to make arrangements for an initial assessment.

Environmental Controls / Computer Access

Referrals to the Environmental Controls Service are usually made through an occupational therapist, however they can come from any health or social care professional. In order to make a referral to the EC Service please visit the EATS website and complete the form at the bottom of the page. Each referral is considered in the weekly triage meeting against the service specification and the team will be back in touch with you following this meeting to make arrangements for an assessment.
